The Scheduling module is easy to access and use but it is by no means a light weight system. CIS Scheduling is design to be able to meet all your practice’s scheduling needs. Beyond the basics of booking appointments comprehensively and efficiently in the scheduling module, CIS allows you to control patient flow and provide visual cues as to how the day and workflow are progressing. With a click of the mouse, you can mark patients arrived, in treatment, or complete. If you are still using a paper chart, you can even tell if the chart has been pulled, or print off a pull chart list.

CIS Scheduling even keeps an eye on what is happening in the rest of the system: it will bill a patient for an appointment and tells you when this has been done by changing the colour of the appointment. This way, you can quickly see which appointments have been billed and which one you will need to follow up on.

CIS Scheduling is the nerve centre of the other modules in CIS. From an appointment you can with one click look up that patient in Registration, bill that appointment, view that patient’s laboratory results, view their prescription history, or see a cumulative history in the EMR.
