With CIS you have access to an optional feature that will save you time and money: real time Health Card Validation (HCV). This service allows you to validate health cards against the Ministry of Health’s database of health cards. You know immediately whether health cards are valid or not. When you combine Health Card Validation with CIS Scheduler 7.4.5., you have the added benefit of being able to run the validation process for all of tomorrow’s appointments at night when you are not around.

You can’t always wait until the following night to know whether a card is invalid. HVC allows you to validate a patient’s health card now, while he or she is standing right in front of you.
