| Optionally with CIS you have access to real time health card validation. This service allows you to validate health cards against the Ministry of Health’s database of health cards. You know immediately whether health cards are valid or not. When you combine Health Card Validation with CIS Scheduler 7.4.5., you have the added benefit of being able to validate all of tomorrow’s appointments at night when you are not around.
Why not OBEC? The basic answer is you can’t always wait until the following night to know whether that card is invalid. Often the biggest cost of an invalid health card is trying to track down the right information. Why wait till tonight, when you can validate that patient’s health card now, while they are standing right in front of you. |
