The EMR function of CIS provides the ability to create and use custom forms. This function allows you to scan any of the forms you commonly use and identify the items that you will need to fill out and those that the system should fill out for you from the patient database. That’s it. You are ready to use the form.

CIS does all the work for you: you no longer need to spend a lot of time filling out forms, or making sure you have enough stock of a certain form on hand. Simply click on the custom form you want and CIS will fill in the information it can, leaving you to fill out only the information needed for that specific appointment. Not only do you have a quick form that is ready for the patient or the outside party, but you have automatically created a record of the form in the patient’s chart.

The custom forms feature is fully integrated into P & P’s EMR. Instead of using our generic diagnostic referral sheet, you can attach your local x-ray clinics form and fill it out online. When it comes time to refer the patient, you can seamlessly attach a tracking form and any other forms you have used to the referral letter.
