One of the exciting new features of The Clinic Information System's version 7.4.5 is the addition of a Chronic Disease Management component of the patient's medical record.
Chronic Disease Management is a pro-active approach to diagnosing and treating chronic diseases before they become a more complicated problem for the patient, and in turn the physician.
The Clinic Information System provides physicians with the ability to organize the specific pieces of data necessary to properly view the ongoing history of specific Patient Profile items such as Lab tests, vital signs, drug dosages and diganoses; which allow them to easily view ongoing trends. Physicians are able to set normal values and alerts that allow the system to show at a glance any items that the physician and patient should be concerned about.
